The Volume Pavilion utilizes 36-feet long steel sheets cut in zig-zaglike shapes. The sheets are pre-welded and shipped to the construction site flat. 10 sections of the folded pre-welded sheets are connected on site. The volume is lifted vertically with a crane. Lateral pulling forces expand the structure from its folded position making the volume erects and morphs into a multi-faceted, 3-dimensional cubic structure resting on many points of contact with the ground.
